On April 15, 2025, a group of smallholder forest owners in Quang Nam province was proudly awarded the Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) Certificate by Bureau Veritas, with a total certified area of 5,347.26 hectares. The entire area consists of planted forests of Acacia hybrid and Acacia mangium.

The certified forest areas are located in the communes of Dai Thanh, Dai Hung, Dai Nghia, Dai Son, and Dai Quang (Dai Loc district); Thanh My (Nam Giang district); Que Trung, Que Loc, and Son Vien (Nong Son district); and Phuoc Hiep and Phuoc Hoa (Phuoc Son district), Quang Nam province.

This certification reflects our relentless efforts in forest production planning, forest resource protection, and strict adherence to environmental and socio-economic principles in accordance with international standards. It marks a significant milestone in enhancing the value of planted forests while contributing to the promotion of legal timber, forest product traceability, and expanded access to international markets.

The certificate is represented by the THIEN HOANG FORESTRY CO., LTD, which marks the 42nd forest owner in the country to be awarded the SFM Certificate, raising the total certified forest area in Vietnam to 221,218.04 hectares. This demonstrates a growing commitment among communities and forest owners across Vietnam to participate in responsible forest product supply chains, aiming towards sustainable forestry development and global market integration.
