The 30th Section of Asia-Pacific Forestry Commission is officially launched today 3 October 2023 in Sydney, Australia. The Section takes place from 2-6 October with the theme “Sustainable Forests for a Sustainable Future”.

A series of meetings and discussions will be held during the Section and focuses on sustainable management of forests for sustainable production and consumption of wood and non wood products to achieve urgent need for carbon neutral, climate resilience, biodiversity friently economies in the Asia and Pacific Region.

VFCO joins the event as the country delegate. This is a great opportunity to share and exchange the lessons and information as well as to set up regional network on sustainable forest management.
