From August 6–8, 2025, the Binh Duong International Woodworking Machinery Exhibition– BIFA WOOD VIETNAM 2025 took place at WTC EXPO, Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The event featured over 800 booths from more than 500 domestic and international enterprises, showcasing products, raw materials, and accessories for the wood industry.
VFCO participated in this event to support enterprises in learning about the national forest certification system (VFCS/PEFC) and VFCS/PEFC standards on Sustainable Forest Management (SFM), RED II, and EUDR DDS. This is an important step to help Vietnam’s wood industry increase export value, access, and integrate into the global market.
At the same event, VFCO and PEFC organized the seminar “EUDR – Simplified for Practical Implementation” to provide companies with guidance on implementing the PEFC EUDR DDS in order to comply with the EUDR. The seminar brought together 100 delegates from wood and rubber enterprises, timber associations, and certification bodies. Through this seminar, challenges and experiences in implementing PEFC EUDR DDS were shared, making an important contribution to the process of EUDR compliance for Vietnamese enterprises.
