On September 29, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Forest Certification Office (VFCO) organized a consultation workshop on “Guidelines for Implementing the EUDR in the Wood, Rubber, and Coffee Supply Chains in Vietnam.” The event brought together 30 participants, including representatives from state management agencies, VCCI, research institutes, associations, businesses in the wood, rubber, and coffee supply chains, as well as experts and other stakeholders.
This workshop is part of a series of consultation and training activities on the EUDR organized by VFCO under the sub-project “Supporting SMEs in Implementing the EUDR” under the Vietnam–Switzerland Trade Cooperation Program.
The workshop shared information on Vietnam’s EUDR adaptation policies, draft implementation guidelines, internal assessment for EUDR compliance, and the web-based EUDR compliance system. Participants highly appreciated the results achieved, especially the digital data platform, and provided inputs to improve the guidelines.
VFCO will continue to finalize the guidelines and organize further workshops and training sessions to disseminate them widely to interested enterprises. Please follow VFCO’s website and fanpage for the latest updates.
