VFCO participated in the BINH DUONG International Woodworking Machinery Exhibition 2024 and shared information on the PEFC EUDR DDS module standard

The BIFA WOOD VIETNAM 2024 took place from August 8-11, 2024, at the WTC Expo Binh Duong International Exhibition Center, featuring 800 booths and the participation of more than 150 companies from 60 countries and territories. The fair provided an opportunity to promote trade for the wood industry, meet the demand for raw wood materials, and connect regional and international markets. VFCO took part in the exhibition to promote the use of responsible, sustainable, and legal materials.

On the afternoon of August 9, 2024, at the same venue as BIFA WOOD VIETNAM 2024, during the technical session of the Q3 Wood Industry Briefing Conference, VFCO shared and introduced the PEFC EUDR DDS module standard to help wood companies meet EUDR requirements early.The conference discussed important issues, challenges, and solutions to promote timber processing and export in the latter half of the year, reduce GHG emissions in the timber processing industry, and more. In the context of the EU not yet providing EUDR implementation guidelines, this module was well-received by many companies as a solution to meet EUDR requirements in the near future!
