On February 8, 2025, Hoa Binh Rubber Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG), was granted sustainable forest management certification by SGS Vietnam for 1,662.75 hectares of rubber plantations located in Xuyen Moc District, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. This certification brings the total certified forest area under the VFCS/PEFC system to 210,921.85 hectares. Hoa Binh Rubber JSC is the 18th company within the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group to receive the sustainable forest management certification and the 40th forest owner to be certified under the Vietnam Forest Certification Cheme for sustainable forest management. 

Achieving VFCS/PEFC certification not only enhances the company’s brand reputation but also opens up export opportunities to demanding markets such as the EU and North America. Furthermore, this certification affirms the company’s commitment to protecting natural resources, minimizing environmental impact, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the local community.
